Review on Green LeapFrog Pick Count Vacuum Cleaner by Michael Thaxton

Revainrating 2 out of 5

Not what I expected

After reading the description I got the impression that this is an educational toy. For some reason I had it in my head that he would count the pieces while you vacuumed (pick up the vacuum and "count"). I was also under the impression that it would recognize the color of the vacuumed washing machine. It's not like this. It just tells the child what color to choose and they have to choose it correctly. If the vacuum cleaner asks for blue and the child chooses red, then there is no mechanism to say the correct color and so on. I wouldn't call it a "learning" toy unless someone was teaching it all along. It's a nice toy that doesn't work so well on carpets. We got lucky with tile or wood floors, but overall I was only disappointed because I had higher expectations. Although the toy itself is beautiful.

Pros
  • Great for outdoor activities
Cons
  • Useless features
