Green LeapFrog Pick Count Vacuum Cleaner Review

My 16 month old grandson loves it although he is not yet old enough to master all the functions. 2+ years is probably the optimal target age, but the sounds fascinate younger children too.

This cute little toy vacuum cleaner is just for fun, but don't try to get your child to suck up "dust" (colored discs) as this is almost impossible. You need to make sure the hole in the bottom of the vacuum cleaner lines up EXACTLY with the disc in the bottom or it won't lift. After reading the description I got the impression that this is an educational toy. For some reason I had it in my head that he would count the pieces while you vacuumed (pick up the vacuum and "count"). I was also under the impression that it would recognize the color of the vacuumed washing machine. It's not like this.
