This thing is really cool. It's more novelty than anything, but I've found that I really enjoy having it connected to my computer. And once you've set the time, it seems to stay the same whether your computer is off or not. One issue I found on my Windows 10 computer was a constant "Insufficient disk space" warning on the drive when it was plugged in. He seems to see it as a flash drive and feels the need to keep telling you that it's running out of space. Like every 2 minutes. I downloaded a utility to disable this warning message, but many don't. I'm not sure if the Mac does the same or not as I never connected it to my MacBook Pro for testing. But the thing is worth every penny for the coolness factor alone.
