Although I measured correctly, the shoes are slightly uncomfortable in the heel area, which resulted in my child's foot being pushed forward and the heel pushing the back and therefore his not touched toes dangle slightly from the front parts of the shoe. If it hadn't been made that way, it would have fitted perfectly. I also find the shoes a bit awkward for him. It tends to get stuck with them on hardwood and carpets. They are good but overpriced in my opinion. The only reason I bought this shoe was so his chunky feet could fit in and get used to the shoes. I wouldn't buy another pair but so far they're doing the job.
