I bought another tent first which was smaller I sent it back because despite the smaller size and weight it was very difficult for one person to set up this tent in literally seconds Everything is bigger , stronger and therefore heavier but weighs about 7 pounds and can be easily carried by almost anyone.The material is thicker and reflective compared to the first tent.It's also large enough to sit on a chair indoors.Its construction makes a solid impression.I am skeptical about tents with conventional folding poles as they are prone to breakage.This tent uses a completely different system, e like an inverted umbrella.
