Can't say anything about durability as I just received it; However, getting dressed was quick and easy. Please note they do not come with instructions, just numbers in a plastic sleeve. Vinyl numbers have a hard paper backing on one side and clear transfer tape on the other side. Simply peel the clear transfer tape (make sure the number fits on it. I had a little problem with just one number, easily fixed by peeling off the other corner) with the number on the hard paper backing. Place the sticky side on the item (I bought these for the mailbox). I used the glossy side of the backing paper to smooth it out. I then peeled off the clear film and used the glossy side of the backing paper to give the numbers an extra firm print. There were no bubbles when gluing. The whole process (both sides of the mailbox) took no more than five minutes.
