If you are purchasing this to line your wooden molds for casting epoxy you will be pleased to know that this tape definitely does the job. Epoxy does not stick to the substrate. I took off a star because the tape is so incredibly sticky that it's a bit difficult to work with. Depending on your usage, you may find that this is a feature. In the case of the epoxy molds, this slowed me down as the tape would stick to my fingers or itself, so I had to be slow and methodical in my handling. My advice to epoxy users: glue the boards while they are flat and easily accessible, not after they are glued or nailed. Also a tip - be sure to use transparent silicone sealant at the junction of the two glued wood joints, otherwise diluting with epoxy can cause leaks, which can quickly become a disaster. Unfortunately, I learned that the hard way.
