The desk is easy to assemble a bit awkward doing it but we got it done. I bought them for my fourth and second graders to do their home studies. They have enough leg room and big enough to fit a small laptop but not all school materials on the desk at the same time. My main complaint is the second desk metal bar that holds the table part has the wholes drilled on the wrong side! I thought I was going crazy when I put it together and thought I must assembled something backwards but my husband took at look at it for me and this was a manufacturer error. The screw holes drilled on the wrong side. So, we can’t screw the desk part down on that top metal bar frame. Other than that the other desk was good to go and they both get the job done, minus one desk not being too stable.
