I bought two Tech-Life Boss speakers for my newly renovated patio. I had the option of installing powered speakers because the deck was "pre-wired" and I decided to first get a set of Klipsch outdoor speakers (I think Klipsch speakers sound great and are reasonably priced). However, after considering using a wired system on a daily basis, I changed my mind and started looking into Bluetooth options. After a long search I came across Tech-Life. I liked the size of the Boss speaker and the fact that you can chain multiple speakers together (up to 100!) was a nice touch. Also, Boss is waterproof, which was an important consideration since the speakers were on the soundboard most of the time. I also understand that Tech-Life is an American company and I wanted to support small businesses. I've had the speakers for a few weeks now and I really love them! The sound quality is fantastic - very balanced for such a small speaker. I've listened to other similar speakers and it seems like many manufacturers think that excessive bass is a benefit, but what you typically get is a confusing "booming" sound with no clarity. Tech-Life's sound engineers did a great job with the Boss speakers, designing a very small speaker capable of producing a warm, rich sound and a long range. The highs are crisp but not tinny, while the lows are solid and punchy. Again quite unexpected for such a small speaker. In addition, the build quality is very impressive; The speakers are a nice weight and I like the soft-touch finish of the control panel. I had an issue with one of the speakers after about two weeks of use. The speaker was fully charged but wouldn't stay on when unplugged. Tech-Life quickly provided a prepaid label to send back for repair. The repair took a little longer than I was originally told, but George at Tech-Life was very responsive and friendly when I emailed asking for updates, and he even arranged to send me a free "micro" version of their speaker to make up for the delay (the mic sounds great too and fits in the palm of your hand!). I've been using all three speakers for the last month with no problems. With the Tech Life speakers, I've created an outdoor surround sound experience with wireless convenience and a small footprint. I've had friends hanging out on deck and they were amazed at the stunning sound coming out of these little guys. I'm very happy with the Tech Life speakers and think they're worth considering if you're looking for a great-sounding, affordable speaker - a welcome alternative to some of the more well-known options like the SONOS (Boss sounds better).
