I think this product did a great job of restoring my dull and grizzled black suede ankle boots back to their original dark black color. (The only thing I would like to point out is that in order to use the paint for future use, you must purchase a new cotton "applicator" as it will dry out and have to be thrown away.) The paint lasted much longer on me than other reviews. said. I used about 1/6 bottle for two layers of suede boots. I would recommend applying 1 coat and then when it dries (2-3 hours) apply another. The next day I sealed it with ScotchGuard. TIP: You really need to make sure you cover EVERY part of the suede or there will be an obvious difference between the old suede and the freshly dyed suede.
