Review on 🐾 Enhanced Petmate Signature Leash for Optimal Performance by Kathy Jaramillo

I purchased this leash from Petco last month when purchasing the matching Petmate harness. Today I had to change the dishes because my dog ate them. (Not the harness' fault, just the dog thinking it's all a toy) I went to Revain where I found the same Petmate harness for half the price I paid at Petco. So I was wondering if I could get a leash cheaper. Looked at the leash and was surprised to see that it had some bad reviews about dogs being untied. My first impulse was to assume that the clip had worn out and the person was still using the leash. But I was concerned about the stories of dogs not being clipped (especially the one that got hit by a car). I decided to test my brand new leash. I attached it to my keychain to test that claim. I have found that if the key ring is pulled at a 45 degree angle and rotated slightly I can actually get the keys out of the clip! It didn't take much effort. I read that someone mentioned running dogs which might mislead people into thinking they are under great violence. No, if the dog just pulls at a 45 degree angle and turns its head, it will disengage. I plan on going off the leash and replacing the clip with a regular one.
