My first impression of this product was that I liked the simple packaging. They also looked pretty professional in the packaging. And I assumed that they would provide a clean and understandable application. That was only partly true. Let me explain: they look best on lighter colored surfaces. You will notice some imperfections in the darker corners. And they tend to create imperfections due to the way the stickers peel off. I was hoping there were 4 stickers inside, with 4 thin strips of adhesive taped individually to the protective case. The strips mentioned deform easily if the stickers are accidentally peeled off, and the adhesive itself isn't phenomenal; Even after the recommended 24 hour wait, I can still easily remove them from the surface (no hair dryer required). And while they don't leave marks or damage the furniture they're applied to, they're small enough to have me worried about choking. I like the $8 list price and the presentation too. And I like that they perform some of the functions intended (i.e. they definitely soften the rough edges). But their application is not all I was looking for. They work to an extent, but I still wouldn't recommend them for most people with young children.
