They work - bought them primarily for our fireplace as my little one has just started crawling and we know what's next. I recommend if your furniture is black or white, blurring those colors because they'll be crisp and clear on my white mantel. But they definitely make the corner safer.

They are smaller than the 'regular' child safety bumpers you see in the photo. These transparent ones look much cleaner and less conspicuous. They stick well. I just don't know how well they protect a child's head from bumping into them compared to just covering a sharp corner. *edit* it fell off within days! Disappointing

Although I've used Winkel before, I like that this one suits my future a little better. Other angles are smaller and seem to come loose easier. This one goes and holds on to some more furniture and doesn't seem to be coming loose anytime soon. In general, do this and be very happy with it.
