Review on LG Energy Rated Window Conditioner by Eric Wright

This is the top rated air conditioner on the most popular consumer rating service so I ordered it based on that. It's fairly easy to install (I don't know of any window mount AC unit that I would describe as "easy" to install, but it wasn't any harder than I expected). The real star is his performance. As advertised, it's quiet at its lowest setting and has a feature that gradually increases the output of the capacitor as it switches from "off" to "on" in sleep mode, so it's not as noisy is like before. The AC units I tested do this. That alone is a great accomplishment, especially since it's in the bedroom window and quiet is key. I live in a part of the country where air conditioning is not typically needed for most of the year and overall only 40% of homes have air conditioning. It didn't arrive in time for the recent record heatwave but I'm happy to get it for the next smaller one which is only 24 hours away and is expected to take 4-5 days. I am grateful for that! I will add an addendum to this review if I encounter any issues. I've been using it for a month. It wasn't the most expensive but everyone gets what they pay for and I would buy it again at this point.
