Arrived 3.5 business days after purchase. I am very impressed with the solidity of the panels. At first I was wondering why all the reviews hate hookups. When I plugged in the first plug, it seemed pretty solid/sufficient to me. Then I connect 2 panels. It literally took me 5 minutes to press and I felt exhausted. There was no way to assemble these 4 boxes without cable ties. Too heavy. Probably not even possible. In addition, you can use screeds to make doors! Each panel measures 14" x 14" and has 9" x 9" squares each with an inner hole size of 1.5" x 1.5". For those wondering if it's safe for guinea pigs and rabbits, the answer to both questions is yes! A safe cage opening size for guinea pigs is 1.5 inches or less (so they can't put their heads in). I can't find a safe size for rabbits online, but since rabbits are larger than guinea pigs, any hole size safe for a guinea pig is safe for a rabbit too! When purchasing a C&C cage, the 9x9 14"x14" square plate always gives you safe results for every animal. DO NOT buy an 8 x 8 14" x 14" square plate as it is not safe for guinea pigs (I'm not sure about 8 x 8 for rabbits but I would go with 9 x 9 just in case). I would recommend this product if purchasing zip ties as a C&C cage! PS You can use the cardboard insert that holds the connectors like a loose ramp: just pierce the cardboard in two places at the top and you're ready to tie it off the shelf half.
