This tape is plenty strong to make the gaps in a concrete overlay, faux wood floor. I wouldn't let the concrete cure, but instead oull.up the tape while the overlay is still soft. The residue from the tape will drop off on the floor, but you can work it back into the design with a damp paint brush.I have used 1.5 rolls in a 10 × 10' room. My planks are set to be 12" wide and vary my length to resemble 6' and 9' board lengths.
