Pretty short, but more than adequate. Looks good on a converted BMX from the 80's as today's big diameter pegs didn't appear until sometime in the 90's. I ordered two sets of these and in both sets one of the two pins was threaded poorly. Apply plenty of grease and tighten with a wrench and you'll be fine. Your axle thread acts as a thread cutter and cleans up poorly cut threads for you. Black agents need to buy new taps to cut threads. I bought two more sets and I hope they are better than the first two sets. Bought these over other brands as they are threaded in two different sizes. Work with skyways as well as other types of wheels.
