I decided to hire a plumber to fix my leaking shower valve that I couldn't remove the handle from, but I didn't want to spend money on a plumber. That was almost a year ago when my valve was still leaking. Then I came across a Youtube video mentioning this tool, so I use it! It made removing my valve handle very easy! So I put it back on and ordered a gasket upgrade kit as well as an appearance upgrade on my 35 year old Delta chrome valve. Use the tool again to remove the handle (easier this time) and upgrade to a leak-free valve with a brushed nickel gasket kit and handle kit!
