Worked fine!

I had a hot water valve on my dishwasher under the sink that needed replacing. The old valve had a very short copper tube that came out of the wall. I couldn't grab the compression ring with pliers and couldn't carve it due to lack of space. I was hesitant to buy it because of the bad reviews but I needed something to help me. This remedy worked perfectly! Just follow the instructions, hook the pins behind the compression nut and turn clockwise. Within 30 seconds the ring and nut were removed…

Just what I needed for work!

I decided to hire a plumber to fix my leaking shower valve that I couldn't remove the handle from, but I didn't want to spend money on a plumber. That was almost a year ago when my valve was still leaking. Then I came across a Youtube video mentioning this tool, so I use it! It made removing my valve handle very easy! Pros
  • One-piece crossbar and adjustable puller arms
Cons
  • Very expensive

I figured that in a few minutes I'd pull the sleeve and clean the pipe, then put the shark valve on, done. No, it was worth spending a few extra dollars and buying the tool because of the compression nut threads on the tool. This can work on a slightly stuck jack or an area where you have a good grip to clench your jaws with one hand and turn the…

This tool is suitable for removing the compression sleeve.

Not exactly sure how others use this, but this tool worked to remove the sink compression bushings in my 1964 house. I don't think I did anything special. just followed the instructions.1. Insert the bit that goes in the tube. into the tube.2. Insert the tool into the bit.3. Clamp the jaws around the compression nut.4. Start by turning the handle - this uses a nut to remove the compression sleeve from the pipe. For subsequent removal of the sleeve from the bit: I mean you used a tool to use a…
