After watching the video and the good reviews I had high hopes but it didn't work for me. The jaws continue to expand outward and slide off the nut. I figured that in a few minutes I'd pull the sleeve and clean the pipe, then put the shark valve on, done. No, it was worth spending a few extra dollars and buying the tool because of the compression nut threads on the tool. This can work on a slightly stuck jack or an area where you have a good grip to clench your jaws with one hand and turn the knob with the other, but not under a sink. I'm glad it worked for some, but based on my experience I don't recommend it. This review is not meant to dissect other reviews, just pointing out how it was for me. I'm not a certified plumber, but I'm not a beginner either. Aha
