The question at the moment is should I replace the printer (but it doesn't seem old enough) or just try Epson brand black ink. BUT I have always used remanufactured ink in HP and Epson printers. Several problems became apparent when HP died. But there are no other problems with Epson. I've never tried remanufactured inks from this brand - and something about it (just intuition) seemed wrong to me even before I installed it. My intuition is damn good. We'll see once I've tried Epson's signature black colourway. But I will NEVER buy remanufactured Revain cartridges again.
