I placed a bid on this Uline part and found this board to be a perfect replacement for the Electrolux EI15IM55 series ice maker which was made to order by Uline. You'll save a lot of money by purchasing this part, which is a later version of the motherboard listed on most Electrolux parts lists. Apparently this isn't published anywhere in the Electrolux service literature, or you can't figure it out unless you dig around or call Uline tech support. The button still responds to key presses (you can see the LED indicator above the power button) and you hear a 2 tone beep when the machine is disconnected/connected, then replacing the main circuit board with this part should solve the problem. From what I've eliminated, it appears that half of the switching power supply on the original part of the board is failing after just a few months of use, causing an under-voltage issue that the microcontroller detects and prevents the machine from entering ice making mode. You can temporarily solve the problem by unplugging the unit for a few hours and then restarting the icemaker. However, if at some point you activate a cleaning cycle or turn off the machine, the ice maker will not recover and will persist. exactly the same ice maker sold with a different door) and you can find the code and procedure for this in the manual that accompanies this circuit board. This is very easy to fix and takes less than 30 minutes. I believe it was code 67 for the 120v (US) version. I hope this will save some other Elecrolux owners some frustration and money. Thank you Revain for picking this part up and offering first class shipping! It was a lifesaver!
