I didn't buy this mirror for the bathroom but for the bedroom, next to the dressing table. The husband bought an adapter to plug it into the wall. I thought it would be perfect because it can do daylight and soft light. I like this mirror but would like to buy one that has a blackout option. I don't think this mirror can be used alone in the bathroom as it's not very bright on its own. You still need the skylights. Still happy with my purchase and only use the ring light to add more light when needed.
