Smells like lime, works like a miracle

I don't understand at all how this thing works as it seems to me that the smell can come from several different sources all over the umbilical frame. But it works and I also like the citrus scent. And, while on topic, what kind of "necessary because there is a man in the house"? A few people claim they don't smell? Or is it based on men reading in the bathroom for a long time and not removing the source of the bad smell fast enough? Further research is required.
