Well I got what I ordered. It was a genuine TOYOTA part. Price Oil filters don't cost enough to worry about in my opinion. it has nothing to do with the filter itself, that's how TOYOTA designed the truck!

I love my truck and prefer to use genuine parts whenever possible. This is a genuine Toyota oil filter that works well. When hand tightened it stays in place as it should. I have to use a wrench to remove it, which is probably fine. Nothing more to say but I prefer this OEM part over other filters.
