I ONLY use OEM filters on every car I own. I hate the quality of the aftermarket junk that's out there. The biggest key difference is the O-ring. The plant comes pre-lubricated, is very flexible and rotates easily in its groove. This greatly reduces the risk of pinching the O-ring on the side of the filter during installation. There are also countless video comparisons of internal filtration and pressure relief systems between original and non-original models.
