I think I have a bad batch. I've actually never seen clay do this, but it doesn't soften and just crumbles. I put the block in the oven to see how it would perform. It just falls apart when you touch it. I don't want to give a bad review because it seems like a very good set but the box I received is rubbish. and indeed there was a lot of clay here, since it was unusable. Unfortunately I cannot return the fired loose clay or get a new set to see if it was just an accident.
