Interesting question. I need very little drilling on this project, but I need clean 8mm holes that are positioned/aligned very precisely in solid wood. So: There were practically no hits from the "Honjie" exercises. The rest were PoC, their dots rotated in the form of circles about 1mm in diameter, someone had less, someone had more (!). Impossible to drill accurately with a tool of this quality. Basically I have a point drill that will do the job for $6. On the other hand I could get Austrian made Fisch Brad Point (8mm x 117mm) drill bits which would probably be a much better quality tool. I would do the same job but almost double the price. Make up your own mind.
