Review on Acer X183H Bb 18.5 Inch Widescreen Monitor - 1366X768, Wide Screen by Nick Walker

Bought this monitor for my mom. When setting up, the automatic function didn't give good results, so I figured it was time to read the manual. The first problem is that there is no manual. It's on CD. The second problem is that you can't read the manual and do the settings at the same time, since the manual is displayed on the monitor screen and the monitor control panel also appears on the screen - and neither can be there at the same time . You'd better remember what you've read before it disappears from the screen when trying to make the changes suggested in the manual. The third problem is that the control buttons on the monitor are NOT user friendly. The buttons are labeled "e, auto, menu, <, >". Figuring out which ones actually implement the changes you want to make is incredibly difficult. Three stars for terrible control buttons and a very crappy menu interface.
