I was shocked by it. I read the product reviews and although, hey, I might give it a try. Here's why I'm happy with this product: 1) It does the job. Swiffer products are designed to grab and hold dirt. My house is getting dusty - I have a baby, a toddler, a duck retriever, a cat, a husband and a wood stove. I have nothing against dust, but it requires it. possibly e. I grabbed a rag (it took me a minute to sort it because I wasn't looking that way) and headed down the stairs. I was very impressed that I didn't see any dust or hair fly up when the rag hit the entertainment center. Or coffee tables. Or a bookshelf 2) It's fast. Did you read that I have two children under the age of two? I have little time. I also run two businesses and am starting to blog. I don't have time to clean the house. I was able to dust the entire house (2200 square feet) in about 10 minutes. 3) My baby knows how to do it and likes it. I won't lie - that's why I bought it in the first place. I've had great success taking a floor mop, which I only used two lengths of, and making a mop the size of a toddler. My little moose likes to follow me around while cleaning, randomly while cleaning. That's what I thought, hello! It might work with a rag. Of course he's not very good at it, but he tries and finds it enjoyable. So I'll consider it a win. 4) You can pull multiple applications from the same rag. I change them about once a week - I look for washing and reusing like other reviewers have done. I haven't tried this yet. Cons: It takes a minute to assemble, but that's what I get for not reading the instructions very well.
