By companion I mean it probably won't be the only water bottle you'll ever own. Its size (around 1.8L) and potential weight (around 2kg) mean it's not the easiest to transport. I like to use it at home or at work for easy access to water. However, when traveling, I may switch to a smaller collapsible water bottle or use two water bottles together. Pros: - All the water you need throughout the day is in one bottle. I fill the bottle once a day and I'm ready to go. The screw cap is useful both for capping the bottle without risk of leakage (but see last minus*) and for portability by hanging the bottle from a backpack loop or finger etc. Cons: - May be too big for those with small hands. - * The advice not to put the bottle in bags containing other items is stupid (on the label attached to the product). The company can protect itself in the event of water splashing into a customer's bag, but this should never pose a risk. Considering that a full bottle weighs around 2kg I don't see any other way of traveling with it than putting it in your pocket.
