Review on ROCKBROS Mountain Bike Pedals: ๐Ÿšต Lightweight Carbon Fiber Flat Pedals for MTB by Brian Garrett

Revainrating 4 out of 5

Agree with the Dudeism review but there is a solution.

Agree with the "Dudeism" reviewer who said: ---------------------- ----- -- --------------- ------------------ "Quality depends on how you drive I guess. They are light and well built and good looking these are pros however the camber of the axle hangs up higher than the surface of the pedal and the cleats are too short so you can feel the axle right under your foot that probably good .If you wear flat shoes (5 - 10, vans etc) and ride trails or downhill I don't think they will fit you --------------- ----- - -------------------------------------------- ---- Solution 1: Unscrew each spike with the tool provided and apply superglue to the treads and half tighten to increase the height of the spike This solution has the studs touching much earlier than the center line leading to e in a better grip. Solution 2: Remove each spike with the tool provided, add a small washer or two to each spike and screw the spikes back on. This increases the height of the cleats but increases the stress on the pedal. For those who want to set a minimum total weight for their bike, solution -1 would be the best. I would give this pedal 5 stars if the cleats were longer or if the surface the cleats rest on was a little higher.

Pros
  • Excellent overall performance
Cons
  • Operating speed
