I have been using CANON LBP2900 at work since 2022. No complaints. Never even changed the cartridge. Only the toner falls asleep regularly. Once every three or four months. CANON cartridges are not chipped. Therefore, when choosing a manufacturer for a home printer, I settled on CANON products. They don't look for good from good! Has some pros The print quality is top notch. There is something to compare. Small in size, light in weight, elegant body. The print speed is good. WiFi is a big plus. Printing from a laptop has become available without a flash drive. In addition, the printer itself can be placed anywhere, even in a closet - if you want. :) A big plus is that the cartridge is not chipped. Refuel and use as long as the resource is enough! Has cons: 1. The USB connector is recessed into the case, but the power cord connector is not. Because of this, you can not place the printer close to the wall. There remains a gap. Although this was done in order not to block the ventilation holes. However, the design of the rear wall could well be changed. 2. The cartridge included in the kit is a starter one. Its capacity is not 1600 pages, but only 700 at 5% coverage. A standard branded cartridge 725 for 1600 pages is comparable in price to a printer. However, you can find cheap Chinese counterparts on the market.
