These chains work great! The initial fitting and adjustment takes time, so I would recommend getting it set up properly at home before going out in the snow. I didn't find any instructions on how to resize them, so I used what made sense to me. I adjusted the levers one notch and removed the two yellow tension springs. I did this after about two hours of trying to get them on the tires, riding and making other adjustments. no questions. To be honest I hit 35mph and still had no problems but the 4x4s lost control. I quickly put on the chains and immediately passed out. You don't have to reach for the hoops, you don't have to kneel down and you only need a little force to put on or take off the hoops. I just hope they last a few seasons at this price, I'm concerned about the gray plastic on the temples and chain snagging. However, if your rack is close to the inner wall of the tire like mine is, there are few options. By the way, before ordering the suggested 21mm adapters, make sure the nut adapters that come with the chains will fit your nuts. Adapters are returned with a $5 restocking fee.
