Review on 🚰 Devonshire K 394 4 PB 2-Handle Widespread Bathroom Faucet by Marlin Atonyo

The installation instructions that came with it were a bit generic. Each step was intentionally short (so they could be kept general). They didn't talk about adding a decorative ring to the faucet base and they talked about attaching the handles with a ring and two screws, but no rings and screws were included. Upon closer inspection, it turned out that the screws were not inserted into the handles to secure them. If you search the Kohler website for this faucet, it says these handles are secured with large flat nuts, not a ring and 2 bolts. I contacted the Revain seller (Mott Company) who put a card in the box to contact them if something was wrong or missing. At 4:00am on Friday, I immediately received an email saying, "We're out of the office for the weekend. We will reply to you as soon as possible on Monday. Thanks and have a nice weekend." It's Tuesday night and I still haven't heard from you. I'm going to spend $25 to get nuts and washers from the Kohler website. I'm not happy with this experience. If I... had seen a lot of reviews talking about pre-opened boxes and used hardware I would never have risked buying that expensive faucet How much should you spend on a faucet to have a decent experience?
