Became sporadic after about 3 months

Works, works. Use it for USB dongles and Bluetooth keyboard/mouse communication. After about 3 months it became motion sensitive and would disconnect and reconnect connected devices if the cable was damaged. I've never been rough on it. The "hub" in the cable shows up as an unidentified device from the W10. Bought another brand, let's see how it works over time.
