Heavy, only slightly stronger than a much smaller magnet.

This was my second fishing magnet purchase. I may have got lucky with the first, but this one was a total waste of money.Bottom line, save your money and buy a quality magnet from one of the specialty domestic magnet retailers. I've replaced this white elephant with a Kratos clamp magnet.

It is not as advertised at best it''s a 100lb magnet but I doubt it feels like a 50lb would NOT work for magnet fishing
