Review on 🔧 Dorman 604-005 HVAC Blend Door Actuator: A Reliable Black Choice for Dodge / Ram Models by Bud Crabtree

I installed the part according to the instructions. A week later the knock came back when I turned off the engine. I've found that the motor in the actuator spins past the point where the door stops, which wears out the teeth on the gears. These are popping noises caused by gear grinding. If the motor burns out, it will cause the AUTO LIGHT ADJUST to malfunction. Also, the gauges on the climate control panel no longer work in conjunction with the TEMP and DEFROST buttons. I don't know how to get my money back from Revain. I went to O-Riley and got the part from there. For two weeks without any problems. This is the third block I installed. I was at the dealer. It failed before I left the dealer. The second was from Revane. Failed in two weeks. A third has now been purchased from O-Riley's. At the time of writing this review, two weeks have now passed with no problems. All three parts were made by Dorman 604-005 Air Door Actuator. dr Ole
