2009 Dodge 1500 Truck A/C is working again

My station wagon door on my 2009 Dodge 1500 truck was behind the glove box. Removing the glove box made it easier to remove and replace. This fixed my heating/AC not working properly.

Heater door lever quick repair

Two months have passed and the device is broken like the original. I hear the rattle again when starting the truck and the de-icer doesn't blow. I need to find another one to replace it as the 'warranty' doesn't cover a failure after a month. Update: I have automatic climate control and there is a slightly different model for it. This has worked well for the last few months so far

Part failed, who is to blame?

I installed the part according to the instructions. A week later the knock came back when I turned off the engine. I've found that the motor in the actuator spins past the point where the door stops, which wears out the teeth on the gears. These are popping noises caused by gear grinding. If the motor burns out, it will cause the AUTO LIGHT ADJUST to malfunction. Also, the gauges on the climate control panel no longer work in conjunction with the TEMP and DEFROST buttons. I don't know how toโ€ฆ

This product was just what I needed to get rid of the rattling under my dash and airflow.

The actuator was sent promptly because the seller announced shipping. In fact, it arrived a few days before the estimated delivery date. The item was placed in a very safe and secure packaging. I really like this product which I used on my 2009 Dodge Ram 1500 ST. A few months ago I had an actuator failure and looked up youtube how to install it instead of taking it to Dodge and spending close to $1000 for a very simple install that can be done in about 10-15 minutes. Dodge wanted to remove myโ€ฆ
