Best to use in the shower. When I first used it, there was water everywhere (mirror, wall, etc.). When you turn it on, it won't stop spouting water until you turn it off. Unlike the Philips Sonicare Airfloss HX8211, it emitted a pulsed stream of water with every button press when it was turned on. The only problem with my Philips was that the water pressure was too strong and couldn't be adjusted like the Water Flosser 300ML. Unfortunately with 300ml you can't really look in the mirror to see what you're doing when there's water running everywhere!
