Of course, I'm not worried if my head hits a curb, but I feel like I lose so much of the sophisticated aerodynamics of my Trek 850 by wearing this helmet! When riding upwind or down a steep hill I have to literally push the visor down (seems to be some sort of design flaw - my visor's connection to the helmet broke the first day I had it on). Although this helmet contains a lot of holes, it doesn't offer very good ventilation (expect to sweat while riding). Overall, it's not a sexy helmet - it's not cool in a physical or metaphorical sense - but it's a functional bargain. under $30 (hard to find a much cheaper adult helmet). It is not very heavy and protects the head.
