Review on πŸ”§ ABN 1/4 Inch Drive Click Torque Wrench Set, 15-Piece - Dual-Direction 2-20Nm Torque Wrench with Bits - Ideal Bicycle Tool Set by Kenny Marozas

Revainrating 2 out of 5

Poorly marked bits and a lame body spoil an otherwise good tool

The torque wrench itself is pretty good and looks well made. The required torque can be easily set using the retaining ring. But the size markings on the bits are very hard to find and read, if they're stamped at all (some of them aren't stamped - the 1/4" chrome drive isn't stamped, just bronze hex and torx bits, guess (some of them are stamped too deep on the snaffle or inserted too far). Of course, it doesn't help that there are no dimensions stamped/moulded into the housing itself. Worse, the bits are so tight that it's very difficult to remove them taking it off and putting it back on is what you MUST do to find the right bit. It almost guarantees you'll have a miserable first experience with it, just like me. I don't like buying tools that aren't fun to use. I suspect this will make it a bit easier for me to access the ones I'll be using the most (4, 5, 6mm) and I'd probably polish them with nail polish, to match my others anyway n Allen keys on my bicycle bench. Unless I send it back and buy a Venzo instead.

Pros
  • Alright!
Cons
  • Expensive
