The right tool for the right job

I lost all my famous tool brands due to a divorce. He coped with his task and took up little space in my small apartment. The torque settings seem pretty accurate and the parts are solid.

Pros
  • great product
Cons
  • Miscellaneous Miscellaneous

Works perfectly. Fair price

Good kit for bike self care. The tool box is not big. Each socket is labeled and clearly visible. I would definitely recommend this kit to anyone who mods their bike from time to time.

Pros
  • Good product for the price
Cons
  • Easy to repair

Standard torque wrench

Pretty straightforward standard torque wrench. No extensions, it's so hard to get into those hard to reach places, also the hex bits were a bit different than the standard bits, maybe it was my special screw or the screw I used.

Pros
  • Ideal for outdoor activities
Cons
  • Not sure

Great for bike repairs

If you're in the bike repair industry this is a great budget option. Use it for most repairs as it's bi-directional with a ratchet and most of the bits I need are nested in the cap. Not suitable for pedals as much higher torque is required (50 Nm +-).

Pros
  • Great for small households
Cons
  • Questionable purchase for seniors

Poorly marked bits and a lame body spoil an otherwise good tool

The torque wrench itself is pretty good and looks well made. The required torque can be easily set using the retaining ring. But the size markings on the bits are very hard to find and read, if they're stamped at all (some of them aren't stamped - the 1/4" chrome drive isn't stamped, just bronze hex and torx bits, guess (some of them are stamped too deep on the snaffle or inserted too far). Of course, it doesn't help that there are no dimensions stamped/moulded into the housing itself. Worse…

Pros
  • Alright!
Cons
  • Expensive
