Review on 🍳 Silver 12 Piece Stainless Steel Cookware Set - Gibson Home Abruzzo by Jamie Sanchez

Revainrating 4 out of 5

Excellent for the money, doesn't have a thick bottom.

I bought cooking pots and pans when I just graduated from college, maybe 15 years ago, and I had very little money. Guess they're not premium stainless steel like All-Clad or Calphalon or whatever, but since they're about a tenth the price, well. Look, if you're a top chef, a foodie who wants to put this first, this might not be for you. But if you want to grill spaghetti or cheese and just cook, they're great. I don't know why people expect amazing quality frying pans when they see a price that's a tenth to a third of the price of decent frying pans (if you're looking for quality entry-level items, just grab something from Cuisinart or a similar brand ). My wife LOVES light pans and we both love how you can use sponges to clean stainless steel after you've burned something or something. It's cheap, it works for everyday boring meals. I have 2 pots and a frying pan to date and the ones I lost were my fault (not leaving tomato soup on the stove, going out for beer and falling asleep on the couch for 4 hours (lesson learned). Please note that I now got better stainless steel and would upgrade it, but my mom works for rich people who threw away all-clad cookware (that's amazing, really AMAZING, but not Emeryl's thing).

Pros
  • Feeling good
Cons
  • Not the best
