Can use the computer keyboard to enter the phone password when the screen does not allow it.

This adapter allowed me to enter my passcode into my Moto smartphone. I fiddled with the settings (who the heck is pasting.? Who cares) and turned off the "gboard" which appears to be the "keyboard". I could probably understand this little oversight, but before I discovered this bug, my phone was up to date. Then it doesn't accept fingerprint as a password. So I had no way to enter my password. You may find yourself in a similar situation if your touch screen is damaged. You can also go to a phone store I suppose but if you don't want to mess around this little device will come in handy.
