You can plug one into a USB peripheral and just leave it there, it shouldn't fall out easily as it fits snugly into the connector. Works as advertised. Five stars. Ideal for use with the ESP8266 module. Also ideal for use with mobile phones. One day my wife's S7 broke down and it was no longer possible to drive it. They work better than I expected. They fit my USB-A connectors perfectly - not too tight and not too loose. Very good build quality and the price is not bad. I bought a set of these standard USB to mini converters instead of the bulkier USB converters I have. This was especially helpful since I'm using a converter controller on a RetroPie Zero system with limited space between the USB ports. This means that the larger USB plug easily detaches from the adapter when you try to pull it out of the device. I've tried them in various flash drives and card readers and the only one I've found that won't fit is the Lexar Twist Turn (too tight in TT but they fit a different style of Lexar).
