It was a great pleasure to own this Optoma EH416 project and to use it for teaching. This projector is bright with a wide range of lenses and the fan noise is almost inaudible to me and the participants. I have personally used dozens of projectors in my career, many of which have had short lifespans with some drawbacks. The Optoma EH416 was a solid platform and I logged over 60 hours of lamp use in a month using this article. Pros: Bright, crisp image displayed on a plain white wall with a fully lit ballroom. Cons: Audio The audio level sent over the HDMI connection doesn't take full advantage of the full audio level of the onboard 10W sound system - I wish the audio level was a lot louder. Also, everyone who has seen this machine in action has asked me if they could borrow a projector. :-) All in all, this device is great for exercising in bright environments as well as watching HD movies in business environments.
