I bought this EBC front rotor kit for my 06 Ram 2500 a year ago. I've put less than 8,000 miles on my truck since installing it and now it's metal on metal, which I wasn't expecting anytime soon. My daily commute to work isn't great, but I do travel on many winding and winding roads with ups and downs; an elevation that can reach over 5,500 feet and drop to 3,000 feet in less than 3 miles. The pads squeak on the first day of installation up to this point. Due to the design of the rotor, which renews the surface of the pads every time you brake, there is a lot of brake dust on my wheels. Braking is only noticeable under a heavy load, and not so much when empty. This helps eliminate sponge brake when it gets hot downhill. I missed the opportunity to try other EBC pads as the rotor is ruined now so I'm going back to the OEM.
