The words "softness" and "stretch" were suggested for reference and do not refer to a pumice stone, which is the only attachment I will be using. I've used it to buff dry skin on my back and it's doing an amazing job. A sponge can be used to apply lotion if you like using a back tool. The brush head is soft, too soft for my dry, aging skin that needs to remove the dead top layer. Overall I like the pumice head and the folding handle, just what I was looking for.
