Review on Youngtown 12888 Clock Movement Replacement - Original 13.5mm (17/32 inch) Shaft Length with 5.5mm (7/32 inch) Thread Length by Brian Nicholas

The clock hands have been defaced and not painted all black. They are dented in places, shiny metal shimmers through them. I guess in the 90's any kind of quality assurance ended. Update: sorry. Guilty. The crumpled texture and appearance were plastic coated! Removal revealed flat, fully painted hands. I figured the hands in a separate plastic bag were the only protection they were given. I only noticed the cover when I saw something sticking out at the pan end.
